Rwanda is a big place and easily has more than enough capacity to process all that come here illegally and yes those that overstay are far too many now to deal with so illegals should not be let out into the community to run off underground but rather deported straight away to a 3rd country to be processed and the lack of legal routes might be sending a message that the majority of British people don’t want too many immigrants here, especially boatloads of young men or folk from countries that we have just been at war with that maybe will do us harm (and they do from acid attacks, murders of students and caretakers, rapes of children, concert explosions, murders of young soldiers and taxi hospital bombs and so on) it might not be what the woke want to hear but the truth seldom is.
Poland has no tolerance and also no terrorism do you think that’s a coincidence??
Landlord and workplace laws, checks and legislation has been introduced but can easily be got around if you know what you are doing and this should be policed better . Will they come a long way through other safe countries to get to benefits Britain often spending thousands they know they can get back within months if the system just takes them from boat to plane. I don’t think so.
You don’t have to suggest I have a look at it as it’s a bit of an interest mine over the last 20 yrs, it’s now being made to be not complex and not full of holes but just straightforward, those that wish it to appear complicated are just trying to frustrate it and put party before country. Just ticking them ashore as they step off small boats will look like a resolution on paper if you have no other plan but it’s not what this country needs . You might of just noticed it but it’s not new.
The immigrants going to Eire is nothing new it has been going on for years, it is not the fear of being sent to Rwanda it is to try and utilise the scant documentation they are issued with here to be able to stay elsewhere in the EU.

Surprise, surprise of those earmarked for Rwanda flights, the Home Office don’t know where more than half of them are.
One thing that has always intrigued me to say the least, these “asylum” seekers arrive pretty well destitute, yet have managed to pay the smugglers some hefty sums, doesn’t add up.

Immigrants have always gone to Ireland
If they have got here ( UK ) to get scant documentation to stay IN THE UNITED KINGDOM then suddenly go to Ireland on the day the Rwanda bill finally gets passed it indicates a deterrent and if the boats get busier that indicates folk want to get here and into the system or underworld before the UK gets its act together regarding immigration because they can see this happening and a plan coming together closer every day even if you can’t.
Why would they come to the Uk from safe EU then try to use “ scant “ Uk documentation to stay elsewhere in the EU.
But If that’s what you want to think regardless of it not making sense ..

It's not on the day the act was passed the figures in Hambles link are for the year 22-23 and the total of non British/EU is also far more than the small boat arrivals.

Eire has said publicly it does not have current statistical figures of migrants from the UK just relying on local reports of visual activity.

They are destitute largely BECAUSE they have paid the smugglers to cross.
And if they don't have the cash the deal is they end up with a gangmaster until the debt is paid off ( which of course is a LONG time). This is one of the reasons they can't be found.
The whole process stinks and the Rwanda effort is an obscene distraction to convince the hard of thinking that it is somehow central to solving it and that if it fails, that will be down to wokeists, lefty lawyers and all the rest. And it does seem to work with some.
Strange idea, perhaps, but could there be some point in finding out how France and Germany, with three times the problem, seem to cope without these pantomime measures?

They are apparently lining up volunteers from the failed asylum seekers to go to Rwanda as it is unlikely there will be appeals.

They don't come here for the benefits.
They can do better elsewhere in Europe.
And they don't clock up thousands either.
£49.18/week to cover food clothing and cleaning
Try accumulating thousands like that

France and Germany are much bigger, able to absorb outsiders without it showing much. Whereas UK and Eire are just islands in the sea, with limited space. Ship hundreds of thousands of non-Europeans in and they'll stand out like sore thumbs, causing discontent and resentment amongst the existing population.

The other day it was announced on the news that the long awaited act had been passed, a couple of folk including a child had died in a boat crossing and immigrants are running from the UK to Ireland .
Thats what happens when a deterrent is in place.. A rush to get here on super overloaded boats now before chances dry up , and a drive to get close to the EU border so they can STEP across it if they are selected for deportation.
All dates and bull aside those are the actual facts of what has been happening last week and if you can’t or you refuse to see it then you need to wake up to the reality of the situation that everyone else can see clearly. .

You completely fail to understand what is motivating these people.
Sadly so does our government

I'd suggest you have a look at the details yourself and you will see that it is far too complex, full of holes and expensive . And that Rwanda does not have the capacity for much more.
And far from deterring the boats, they have increased. If people are prepared to pay everything they have to risk life to cross the channel, they will not find the tiny risk of this happening to them changes the decision at all.
Overstayers and the lack of a legal route are the big problems and this government has no intnetion- or indeed, time- to fix those now.
Pity. Rwanda has a greater land area then all of the UK. the UK is crowded and it's resources are under great pressure. We could do with losing around seven million people.

It turns out that th eperosn who went yesterday went voluntarily,at a cost of £1.7m . And it means that this event has nothing to do with the success or otherwise of this policy.
