The first talk of the Southport Lecture Society’s new season is on Saturday 28^th September 2013 by local historian Mr John E Cotterall, it is entitled “Victoriana” and if Mr Cotterall is true to form, it should be a lively and entertaining evening, starting at 7:30 pm, at the Friends Meeting House, Court Road, Southport. Everyone is welcome, the doors open at 7:00 pm, and admission is £1.50, you just pay on the door. Complimentary tea & biscuits are served at the end of the talk.
