It was great to meet you Clive and thank you for your thoughts.

The reason for his visit was to show support to a Qlocal poster.
Now that is how friendship is created. Good on you mate.

Over the last few days so many posters have called in or sent emails to say how disgusted they are with some of the posters comments.

As I say the human race is made up of all sorts of people, the problem is peoples prejudice.

The nasty comments could so easily be zapped from the thread and the posters concerned could so easily be banned, but why bother.........I'm off to Andy's for my lunch. What a wonderful day.

Thank you too for your courtesy and reassurance. Have seen you on TV and what you see is what you get. Was proud to sign the book, with photograph too

Haven't delved into these forums for a long long time (... usually just browsing the News pages) but was glad to see this thread was still going.

I signed the famous book way back in 2005 https://www.qlocal.co.uk/southport/fo...r-25361-12.htm

Am still amazed my kids didn't do any damage in your shop !!!

Qlocal's Dixie Roy signs the black book.

Great to meet you again Roy.

Roy is a great Everton fan and very knowledgeable on the American Civil War. Remember it did officially end, and signed in Liverpool.

Remember when 50/50 and ask the audience has been used up. PHONE A FRIEND, that is Dixie Roy.

    My reply is.

Dixie Roy you are a true football supporter. What made me think you were an Everton Fan. May be the name.

I bet you used to buy Roy of the Rovers comics.

I will make sure I get Billy Bingham, Southport sorted out.

    all the best.
