    Call the Midwife, Compassion

Ok it’s a tv series, one I personally like, but always reflects so much compassion in society that I don’t think is like now.

Good programme. Where did it all go wrong?

The compassion is still there and very evident in small local communities. In highly built up areas, it is not so much as neighbourhoods have been broken up.

One that I enjoy myself but it is a drama.
In many ways our more enlightened society is more compassionate now than the early sixties that I remember. There was a more neighbourly bonhomie than today but that was offset by a more judgemental attitude towards straying from a narrow set of social norms.
Unfortunately a tendency for less compassion and more hatemonging by politicians wordwide has become infectious and is making life miserable for all.
Anyway, must get round to reading Ms Worth's memoirs for some excellent escapism.
Don't go to bed angry. Stay up and plot your revenge.
