Census
I was talking to my neighbours. The are from Italy. I asked did they fill in their census form. Said they didn't know anything about it. They don't open letters addressed to 'Occupier'.
That's 4 Adults & 1 child not in the records.
I would imagine this is happening all over the country.

My daughter attends Bangor Uni but has been at home with us for months and not likely to return till the new semester starts in the Autumn, so I included her in our census as instructed. By a fluke chance, she was talking to a friend who informed her that their was a census letter waiting in her mail box at the halls of residence. She then went online and completed one as required, but had she not had that conversation with her friend, she would have had no idea that she needed to do this. Have they now counted her twice ?

They will get visits to 'encourage' them to either go in-line and do it or be provided with a paper copy to fill in, there is £1,000 fine for failing to comply.

Students need to complete a census for their home address and university address, answering each questions for each address.

At the time of last census, I did the job of calling on those who hadn’t completed the census.
Nothing on line last time all paper forms.

When I got my letter with the online code thing, prison was mentioned in the text somewhere. Something about if you fail to pay the £1000 fine if you don't do the census.

No mention of jail time, I suppose that could be an eventuality if refusal to complete the census, then non acceptance of fines, would very much doubt that it would come to that.
I found most people who hadn’t completed the census, changed their minds when it was explained that it was a legal requirement, for those who got a bit stroppy, when I explained that it was no problem for me whether they completed the form or not, but the next call would be more official and serious, they did then complete the census.
When I did the call backs for the last census, finished with all complete.

stroppy
You should have seen my family back in 81 and 91 then when the census forms came through. Oh , we can't fill that in, such and such doesn't live here, they live with them and she lives with someone and yet, there we all were in the same house and not an absentee among us.
Even I didn't exist as I was told not to put my name anywhere near it.
Some of my family were downright awkward at times and I'll go as far as to say completely impossible.

Census? Don't you mean 'senses'? Are they going to bring everyone back to their senses?
