The "cheap labour from the EU" never did undercut anyone. Because they took jobs we wouldn't do in places where we wouldn't live. Their absence is why we have so many jobs unfilled; pay rises are making no difference to that.

The "black economy" is nothing like as big as it used to be.

Understandably people want to keep up with prices but the biggest driver of inflation at the moment energy costs is to a large extent homegrown.

It's sometimes posited on this forum that it can be surmised that those who don't expressly disagree with something being said therefore silently agree. Hmmm.
