Drainage Contractors
Why would a professional drainage contractor (name withheld at present) park up next to Fine Janes Brook by Meols Cop Rd and hold what appeared to be an empty section of piping over the drainage outlet into the brook from the retail park nearby ? I hope they were not draining out a piece of pipe previously used to remove some sort of dirty or hazardous waste but I can't think of any other reason at present !

Not sure to be honest, but as you know the company name you could call them directly to find out?

Could they have been pumping water OUT of the brook to use in the process of jetting blocked drains which they could have been doing nearby. I don't know whether they are allowed to access hydrants or not as obviously UU would want paying for the water removed, plus it doesn't have to be drinking water that is used to clear S*"T.
Just a thought.

Whether they are allowed or not I've seen Builders, Window Cleaning and Landscape Gardening Companies topping up their tanks recently.
