I have only just picked up that my name was mentioned there - what are they on about now? Potatoes? They have a few hundred more names to find yet - will keep them busy while they are on lockdown anyway.

I suppose, if nothing else, it helped pass the time for them.

Blimey that's a lot, why so many ?

I have stuck with the same one despite some fierce criticism and an effective ban for no stated reason.

I think he was referring to varieties of potatoes. Obviously hadn't read the rest of the thread.

Even if that was true, it isn't true by now.

Which suggests that there's two people living in that household, with one of them being elderly.

Being elderly, in these current times, is classed as being part of a high-risk group.

You would imagine that that domestic circumstance would help shape and influence the views of both of those people in that household, wouldn't you?

    But not necessarily so...

(S)he read it. We have a screen showing what members are online and what they are currently doing on the forum. It was reading the thread for quite some time. True to form, when confronted with uncomfortable truths/facts, it rarely responds.

Trolls, and like all trolls, the crap they post doesn't necessarily reflect their true beliefs... but it sure as hell generates a lot of attention.

    Yes.

I was aware they'd watched the wee "Sorry!" (For Love or Mummy) video.

I note, too, they start another thread with the word "Lockdown" in its title .

I suppose for those unfortunates who discover through a steady accumulation of rejection or of just drifting through life unnoticed then resorting to wild attention-seeking, even if (necessarily) unreflective, is for them their optimum option, out of a meagre menu of realistic options.

Despite this, some material has undoubtedly "triggered" (as they say!) a felt, reflective reaction.

As an example, I remember posting on some such thread the video below. It obviously struck a nerve, given the sustained and even wilder than usual subsequent output. It seemed to take them a while to get it out of their system. (Thus, it's absolutey no bother to repeat it now .)

By the way, when using "they" and "them" in reference to the Said account, I could be using it in a Sam Smith kind of way .
