Meghan & Harry media coverage.
I am surely not alone in thinking that when Harry and Meghan chose to relinquish their duties and relocate to Canada, that that would be the last we would hear of them. Not a chance. The whole "marrying into Royalty" scenario was for Meghan to improve her ranking on the "celebrity" ladder. With that she could expect the increased publicity value - which she successfully achieved. If, having left our shores, the British media were now to ignore her and not report every trivial incident in her life, we could allow her to sink back into oblivion where, some would say, she belongs.

Totally boring normally though I welcome any distraction from the death figures.

I'm not sure why anyone cares.
They seem to be happy enough. I couldn't give a monkeys if they cut a few ribbons on behalf of the rest of his family or not. They seem to do their bit for charity, which is more than most of us can say.
Only thing that does bother me about this vilification of this actress who married the what -6th? -7th? in line to the throne, is I wonder had she been white and British, the press, and therefore the public, would have turned on her quite as quickly? The difference in the headlines between her and the other 'Duchess', when doing exactly the same activity or wearing the same style of clothing - the absolute double standards - is quite revealing. Kate is being a traditional Royal for carrying lily-of-the-valley, Meghan is apparently trying to murder children with them: https://www.boredpanda.com/uk-media-...mpaign=organic
As far as the press are concerned, if they gave the minor royals and 99% of the so-called celebrities out there a swerve, I'd be happy. But if you buy the tabloids, you know what to expect. At least they aren't hacking the phones of murdered kids while concentrating on 'uppity' women of colour.

Not that I am the least bit interested - but I do not think the public have been told the whole story with these two. It is more than the colour and creed issue which is made much of in the media, there is something that does not appear to be right about the whole relationship. But not my business, so not my concern.

Oddly enough, my mother would agree with you. She has said all along that something isn't right with Meghan and Harry. My mother is a lady who knows what she is talking about, when she get's the feels on something, best to listen... she hated the ex-Mrs TC, and she was right, the ex took one of my cars as well as my dog. Never saw it coming.

I don't care what they do as long as the UK taxpayers do not pay for them in any way. One day she will move on and Harry can ask us if we forgive him.

Your Mum must be a highly intuitive person, and I would never disagree with someone like that - only time will tell!

It's all the Press trying to generate a story, a couple of weeks ago they announced she was going to do some work for Disney, a few days later they move, it's announced that she's working for Disney.
What's the next story, they've been run out of America?
