New Fad
How many posters have taken to wearing shorts continuously during the winter months?
There appear to be an increasing number of people walking around town - mostly men - wearing shorts when the weather is bitterly cold. The strange thing about this is that they also wear heavy winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves - does this mean that the bravado only goes so far?

in my club cycling days used to cyle through winters in shorts even depths of wales snows.its good for the circulation.but have to say not a good look these days as most shorts are more like cut off combat gear.and not stylish like our aussie ,newzealanders who know how to wear them.whilst I think our posties are great ,don't feel it makes for agreat uniform.hey each to their own.

I know the post men/women wear shorts in the coldest of weathers - but they would not be post people, if they were not just a bit nutty, so they can be excused.
Mostly it has been middle aged and older men. I don't suppose they are the type to go on the beaches on the old Costa Del Sol, and change into swimming trunks. Totally white skin is one thing - two tone legs is another thing altogether.
