I find that it is more offensive for people to believe that the Jewish community need wet nursing. They are a proud nation of people and well able to stand up for themselves. In fact, they are far more capable of doing so, than any pretentious woke people are.

If you fail to recognise that fact - look how many Jewish people are successful? The percentage of successful Jewish people among the population is far higher than for most other nations. Because you need guts and determination to succeed.

I hadn't read that piece, but it is interesting.

Her 'Britannia Unchained' involvement marks her as a very dangerous politician. Not least of all because of her being embedded in Tufton Street.

As with Brexit, Trump, the ERG, the same names crop up time after time. The Elliots, Hannan, 'Breitbart', The Cato Institute, the Koch brothers (well, brother), the Adam Smith Institute. All with a radical right bent. I doubt the average Tory voter has even heard of most, much less have any interest, but they are a very dangerous bunch.

And they've got Truss dangling on a string. She flip-flops from one position to the opposite, depending on either press / public reaction, or (I assume) a nudge from her bosses. She has few personal policies in public, they simply depend on whichever right wing buttons she thinks her pale, male, stale targets need pressing. A quick flick through 'Britannia Unchained' show the real Mary Truss. And even then, it's just a hard right pamphlet to showcase the willingness of the authors to follow the names listed above for a shot at power.

She can do a lot of damage in two years of tenure. Having said that unless Tufton Street loosen their grip there will be general strikes and civil unrest that makes the poll tax riots look like a friendly chat over a cuppa. I'm hoping a general election will be called to put an end to it, but Elliot & co aren't going to relinquish power that easily. Look at what they've achieved in the past 8 years or so. The plan isn't over yet.

Next up 'Charter Cities', but they'll call them 'Free Ports'. Makes my blood run cold.

Totally oblivious to the fact that there's no such thing as a positive stereotype. A bit like Trump saying this: "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”
