    Treated Like An Adult

I visited a tourist attraction yesterday. It was completely free to enter the area. There were no notices eg., 'You cannot do this' or 'You cannot do that' etc., There were no uniformed arrogant persons to stop you. I was completely free to do what I wanted to do - and take charge of my own health and safety - it was a lovely refreshing change. There were very high cliff areas with basic fencing, a lot of scree, uneven rocky ground and some steep climbing areas. Thoroughly enjoyable and great fun to be allowed to be grown up.

I find 'outside' is mostly like that. Did they allow dogs?

There were several dogs over there - but since the owners kept to the laid paths that is where the dogs went. To let the dog off the lead is again at the owners risk. The areas where I went had no dogs as there were a lot of places where they could get lost, or worse - trapped.

There was a high wind while on the top - but we went down into the quarry and we were sheltered from the wind - however the rain did make the rocks slippery - they were covered in lichens and moss.
