Yes, I can see that - but I don't think I could do that for more than a couple of nights. I prefer to sleep out in the open if the weather is good - I enjoy lot of space.

And I dislike planned holidays with everything fixed to the clock. That is why I never plan ahead, I just do what I want as the weather and conditions dictate. The unexpected is far more exciting.

Having traveled to most parts of the world, I can honestly say that my favourite place to relax is the Scilly Isles. Mind you, one of the attractions for me has always been the solitude, so this year might not be the best time to visit as I would imagine there will be a tourist invasion.

yep its nice to have a break .but given current circumstances, and weve all been on break from routines of the days banal hamster wheels,is it such a loss to not to have a year of just being and enjoying where we are.remember its not that long ago sunday afternoon off was the norm ,and luxury saturdays half day working .then five day weeks and weekends off .not saying it was right,or healthy ,but we got on and at it.lets take alook at those breaks we gasp for .a week clearing the work load, then trawl to the airport herded like cattle for that cheapo flight and then roll of dice for hotels amenities and sustenance quality.then its lay back in the sun .p.....d and sha...d out on whatere sla...r up for it ,to return home a week to get back on the wheel of life ,yearning for next times so called sojourn of the golden life.and bragging to were on the kudos oneupmanship to our peers of where weve been ,all at the expenseof the locals nviroment and beings cultures world.get real a break and embrace of are nearest out in nature enjoying where you are ,a good meal bottle of pop ,hug cuddle and embrace of hearts union is all the holiday you need ,oh an not forgetting the ever tolerant beasties gaze and paws.X

Agree. Particularly when the weather's as good as it is, why fret about jetting off thousands of miles away. There's plenty of places local to the area, with great views and peaceful relaxing surroundings.

To find any solitude these days, you have to manouvre around and through the masses before finding anywhere relaxing.

many these days find true solitude quite distrubing ,what do define as solitude ,or relaxing.exploring oneness comes with dealing with all ones own accumalated experiences ,good and bad ,before one truly can enjoy ones essence of being ,a journy beffore the respite to enjoy in itself.X
