    UK union

With every day we lurch further towards the appalling prospect of Truss as PM and it is looking like her list of disasters is already forming.

She seems to make a point of insulting Sturgeon while saying she supports the union. Maybe her best effort was calling Sturgeon "attention-seeking" which is a bit like Peter Sutcliffe expressing concern about the violence of others.

I listened to a Scottish political commentator at lunchtime saying he can almost see people moving to vote for Independence every time Truss acts.
    Or speaks. Or even breathes.

We have family in Dumfries who voted to stay together in 2014 but they will go for separation next time. A large part of that was to do with Johnson ; don't underestimate how much he has done for Sturgeon's popularity in Scotland. Now Truss looks as bad or worse .

Nothing happened. It's still the island of England, Scotland and Wales. The UK includes Northern Ireland.

Well, the polls are pretty static despite Sir Boris ignoring Queen Nicola the risk would be a Labour Government.

Sir Beir Starmer has said he would block a referendum but that could just be another one of his giant lies.

We need a general election so that Sir Beir Starmers lies can be exposed.

There simply won’t be another vote on Scottish independence simple as that they can say what they like vote how they want but the Uk just won’t allow it.
Can you really imagine a land border along Hadrian's wall with Europe.
Sturgeon is playing politics with the racist of Scotland and last time we saw that the Scot’s wanted to stay in the UK. There should be another vote in Scotland to see if they want to hand their parliament back to London and do away with having to put up with the likes of sturgeon and her one agenda .

We already have a land border between England and Scotland.
Hadrians wall has never been the border between England and Scotland.
    The U.K. remains in Europe.

Yes but we haven’t got a land border between England and Europe and the official England-Scotland border was established in 1237 by the Treaty of York, between England and Scotland. The border runs for 154 km from Lamberton, north of Berwick-upon-Tweed in the east, to Gretna near the Solway Firth in the west so this would become the land border with Europe and simply wouldn’t happen.
And if you have been watching the news lately you would have seen that we exited Europe lately with something called Brexit . The Uk is not part of Europe anymore in case you missed that .

Why would we have a land border between an Island nation and the rest of Europe?
You do realise that the U.K. is part of a continent called Europe and will forever remain a part of Europe?
Hint, we left the EU, not Europe lol.
Hilarious. I can just imagine you frantically googling to see if the U.K. is still in Europe.

The most recent polls show a small but increasing a majority to leave the UK.

But if it was truly marginal the behaviour of Truss is exactly what would drive people to vote for independence.

With Truss's mantra about a 'Successful London' I think there will be a campaign to move the border further South - from the Wash to the Bristol Channel.

Sure, if London is successful, we're ALL successful.

Has she abandoned 'levelling up' then?

    Back to 'trickling down'.
