Not only that - but they are anti semetic also! The EU was given a massive fine by International Law for acting against Israel on the side of the Palestinians. A fine paid for by the hard working tax payers of the EU!

Israel often deserves the criticism they get, I don't see that is necessarily anti-semitic, keeping Palestinians in a huge Prison Camp whilst building on their land is plain wrong.
By the way who do you mean by "International law" exactly ?

Just because someone voices opposition to acts carried out by the state of Israel, it doesn't mean that they are anti-semitic. Netanyahu can't even form a government - does this mean that those Israelis opposing him within Israel are anti-semitic? Of course not - they are Jewish as well!
Robert Mugabe imposed tyranny on Zimbabwe for decades, but white people opposing him weren't necessarily racists. They opposed him because he was a tyrant, not because he was black.

Do you ever read the comments that you're responding to? Applicants, not the number of applicants who were accepted.
"The highest total number of first-time asylum applicants in the year ending March 2019 was registered in Germany (with 157,875 first-time applicants, or 26% of all applicants in the EU Member States), followed by France (113,625, or 19 %), Spain(69,735, or 12%), Greece (67,970, or 11%), Italy (42,825, or 7%), and the United Kingdom (39,840, or 7%). These six Member States together account for 82% of all first-time applicants in the EU-28. These figures include all asylum applicants, not just main applicants (i.e. including children and other dependents)."
I'm not "thinking about" the numbers. I provided them to demonstrate that Britain does not receive the largest number of applications in the EU.

A fine for what, and by whom? Details on a postcard please.

Sigh? I’m shaking my head and rolling my eyes at your response.
First, let me remind you of what you said: “and the fact that immigrants to the UK will be required to apply for citizenship”
The use of the word “required” indicates that applying for citizenship is a mandatory step for immigrants who wish to live in the UK permanently.
Now you claim that you really meant that taking British citizenship is the fastest means of settlement. Once you have left the EU, immigrants from EU countries will be treated in exactly the same way as non-EU immigrants are now. There is no fast track way to settlement. Before you can apply for citizenship, you have to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. You can’t apply for ILR until you’ve lived in the UK for 5 years. Once ILR is granted, you can’t apply for citizenship until you’ve lived in the UK for another 12 months. It’s a 6 year process before applying for citizenship. ILR is a 5 year process, at the end of which you have the right of permanent residency.
. Immigrants who come to the UK and stay for six months, return home for a period, then return to the UK do not have to pay any taxes.
Again, a reminder of what you said: ” which entails paying full UK taxes instead of the reduced taxes that non-citizens now pay”
Note that my response referred to immigrants who qualify as a statutory residents of the UK, not migrant workers who only spend 6 months a year in the UK.
Your statement is still incorrect. Permanent residents pay exactly the same taxes as UK citizens. Only EU citizens who are resident in the UK for 183 days or less can pay taxes in their country of origin.... but you didn’t mention them in your original post.

Will of the people?
74 of the last 75 reputable opinion polls ( not 3.5 years ago) show a Remain majority.

Maybe your counting all the don't knows as remain in referendum polls ?
Which is kind of pointless as no one is able to offer a referendum.

This phrase 'get Brexit done' is really beginning to grate on me!
Even if 100% of UK voters had voted for it, and even if every single MP votes with the government on the forthcoming legislation, it will still be a minimum of 14 months, probably longer, until 'Brexit is done'.

That may well be because you would rather hear get Brexit stopped.

Why do you have to make everything personal? You were so eager to have a go at me that you didn't even respond to the point I was making.
I respect the democratic process, so Brexit will happen.
I was referring largely to Buffoon Johnson's copious use of the phrase, along with '31st October'.

You will only face constant denialism. The proof will be self evident in the years to come if Brexit is allowed to happen as it was supposed to. I have more faith in the general population than I do have for the EU.

Really? Then how is it that Johnston who is seeking a Brexit deal - is leading way ahead of Labour and Liberal parties? (Daily Mail) Have I missed something here?
