Ofqual statement on allegations of malpractice or wrongdoing in Edexcel's A level maths paper taken on 14 June 2019.
Ofqual are aware of the allegations of malpractice or wrongdoing in relation to Edexcel’s maths paper taken on 14 June. Pearson is investigating and has stated that it has identified a centre in serious breach of correct practice. We are monitoring their investigation and how they will seek to ensure no student is advantaged.
We recognise the concerns of students, who should continue to prepare for their forthcoming exams as normal. If anyone has information relevant to these allegations we would urge them to contact Pearson or us in confidence.

For those wondering what this is actually about, two questions from a Maths A Level paper leaked on Twitter the day before the exam, giving those students who saw it an unfair advantage. Chances are that all students who sat that particular paper will have to re-sit. I'm sure they'll all be super grateful to the utter moron who leaked it.

The complete paper was also offered for sale, now whether this was for real or just an opportunist scam, no-one seems to know.
