I can now confirm our super fun park day and the much anticipated unveiling of the new Victorian style mural by the legendary Southport artist Robert Newbiggin will take place on Sunday 19th June from 10am - 4.30pm

The event will be supported by the lovely Cassie James and our local radio station Mighty FM, AND the gorgeous Claire Simmo with Sandgrounder Radio.

The new mural will be officially opened at 1pm on the day by the Mayor of Sefton.

I will be inviting the celebrities who have backed our campaign and hopefully some who are available will also attend.

There will be lots of things to do for families and kids and we are hoping to have something of interest for all people of all ages.

This event is also to celebrate and applaud all the volunteers who have done the community proud over these last ten years with their hardwork and dedication , without them and the creation of the BGCA registered charity a few years ago the park would be in an unimaginably sorry state.

This is all about the Botanic Gardens and us as one community wanting too see it back on the map as a huge Southport attraction and seeing it get back to its jewel of Southport status of old.
