One of Southport's many drunks has found a new use for a Disabled parking bay.

Totally plastered this man had passed out after a hard night drinking.

Asked if he was OK all he said was cuckoo.

He was eventually taken to hospital by Ambulance to sober up.

I trust you took the picture after a) making sure the chap was okay, and 2) seeking his consent to use his image in the media?

    Of course you did!

People in this sort of state should be charged (let's say £100) for the waste of vital ambulance/hospital time that could have been devoted to more deserving causes.

When you next complain about ambulance response times, it's cretins like this that are part of the problem.

Agree and charged for the hospital time if the cause is just alcohol related.

As for checking if this scrote is o.k. why?
how would the ordinary man in the street know?

Once again the "snowflakes" think that the onus falls on society, not on the miscreant who got himself into such a state.

I wonder what the cost of this incident has cost the services.

    Ambulance £?
    A+E £?

and while this was going on somebody could have been breathing their last breath.

"Ah well lads I had a cracking night out, don't remember the last bit, but hey, who cares"

Obviously someone who has learned to have a good time - unlike some! The guy was asked if he was alright, and probably would prefer not to be taken to hospital as it usually means a much longer trek home!

Probably be a few more like him tonight!

I think that went along with using foul and abusive language and causing a public nuisance cycling on the footpath cycling without lights and walking on the cracks on the pavement.

You don't need consent if the photo is taken in public.
