At a recent meeting of Sefton Council it was decided to reduce the cost of parking on Southport beach from £10 to £8 for this coming year. and from £5 to £4 for late entry (after 4pm).
Ainsdale beach parking will remain the same at £10 and £5 after 4pm.
Season ticket (Foreshore Ticket) covers Southport and Ainsdale - for Sefton Residents or Non-Sefton Residents with a Hybrid or Electric Car will remain at £30 and £60 for others.
Sefton residents are experiencing increasing hardship and the promotion of health
and fitness after a long period of physical inactivity will be important for the public.
Where possible, we have sought to add new fees and charges and to increase fees
above inflation only for commercial income areas, and if there are reasonable
grounds for doing so. Some changes have been proposed also, based on observing
income trends (such as the amendments to Southport Beach Car Park).

£10 to park on sand. I'd expect access to toilets in the price.
