The Jim Davidson show at the Southport Theatre yesterday was cancelled at the last minute with the organisers issuing the following statement.

NOTICE TO ALL ATTENDING JIM DAVIDSON THIS EVENING
Due to unforeseen circumstances Jim Davidson will not be performing tonight in the Floral Hall Ballroom. Full refunds will be given.
**Refunds will commence tomorrow**
We are sincerely sorry for the show not going ahead and will be in touch to commence refunds tomorrow morning.

People took to Facebook to vent their anger.

Disgrace, from what we got told it's not an illness or accident which would be forgiven. Exact words from the lady at floral hall. " our staff will not allow him back in here"
What does that say!!

Day off work booked, hotel booked, meal booked, car parking booked. For the event to be cancelled 20 mins before he's due on. Absolute disgrace.

He was seen worse for wear in the Premier Inn Southport with his mates, not a care in the world. This guy really doesn't give a toss.



What about travelling expenses? And hotels booked for nothing?

Not sure why you wanted to see him,or why you are surprised at his behaviour.

Thats a very expensive cancellation can't imagine the staff not liking him would be enough to pull the show.
