Trump is busily building a trade war with China and will be just as tough on any one if he feels that Americas economy is hindered, any country which has a trade surplus with America need to tread carefully.

Japan have expressed little or no interest in fresh negotiation with the UK alone, simply because they don't need to, we can go cap in hand to the ex Commonwealth countries who I have no doubt will welcome us back with open arms after the way they were dumped when we joined the Common Market.

To date success in even opening the possibility of trading with other non-EU countries has achieved very little and like it or not we will still have to trade with the EU whether we wish to or not, because currently we are dependent on much from within the EU, sure fresh suppliers can and will be found, but over what time scale, it won't be weeks, months or even a few years, when even Mogg concedes that it could be as much as FIFTY YEARS before the country truly benefits, in other words as long or longer than we have been members of The Common Market/EU.

    Great prospects/

Some people have huge difficulty understanding the complexity of the world. They are called Brexiteers. Simple slogans are all they understand. Try this one:

    BOLLOCKS TO BREXIT

The Euro has been growing weaker over the past few years and industry in the EU is greatly reduced. The ship is sinking!
All of these countries trade with the EU through a trade agreement, currently we do not have any trade agreement on our own, judging from the ""raging success""" in negotiations over the last 3 years wouldn't hold your breath waiting for OUR deals to come through, if you think we have the same negotiating power as the EU, dream on, we do trade with countries outside of EU agreements, but any idea that this is any approaching a majority % or even a % of note is false.

In total most of our trade both imports and exports are with or under EU trade agreements, plus there are also preferential trade agreements with other countries through the EU, which give limited free trade on certain products, in short currently there are only 57 countries in the world which we would trade with under WTO rules, most are small countries who we do little or no trade with anyway, so a no deal Brexit will leave us open to whatever WTO tariffs all member countries have registered, this by the way will come into play automatically, not a case of country A,B or C suddenly raising tariffs.
