You’d have expected at least Pugh, Prasnee or Cherie Brandie out in hi-vis for this one, did have to google who Alastair Carmichael is though

All three probably in a bunker somewhere trying to figure out how they can spin a story whereby Sefton Council is responsible for all the cuts to Sefton Council!

I can see it now, John Pugh will pop up to claim... "Sefton Council is deliberately cutting its own budget so that it can punish Southport through lack of investment, it's true I tells ya!!!"

Over 30 People there, and no sign of Vince; plenty of rubbish. Tractor tires, cash registers; bottles, footwear etc. The camera never lies but the photographer always does.

Probably his aide forgot the lemons for him to suck before his camera opportunities.

True, I’m eagerly waiting for the press release blaming another Lib Dem promise broken on “Bootle Labour” or “the strand purchase”...

Just found out... there was a big RSPB beach clean up at the same time too-
... so looks like the Lib-Dems also tried to rather unsuccessfully get people there and piggyback off it for their own publicity purposes?!
