Please be aware that the M6 will be closed in both directions this weekend between J32-33 to allow for removal of a footbridge. This will be from 9pm Friday 10th January until 6am Monday 13th January. Diversions will be signposted, but please expect delays

This weekend, and the next two apparently. Anywhere else in the world a relatively easy job like this would be polished off in twelve hours or so.

I’m amazed Highway’s England didn’t contract out the job to you. Could have saved themselves a small fortune evidently.

It would appear that you’re going to be as a big a W**ker in 2020 as you were in 2019.

I would like more information as why the are removing the bridge?
1 If it is unsafe. What is the life span of a bridge. When we have 100+ year old bridges.
2 It is unused. If so why was it built?

True , but then most other countries in the World are so corrupt that it would have collapsed before now. Incidentally, how long did it actually take to remove the bridge? I would have waited until it had been removed before I made a comment about how long it took.
