My Plan for Southport includes bringing back the Southport to Manchester Piccadilly hourly-service at the earliest opportunity, to support local residents and businesses and encourage job opportunities and tourism.

And for the service to be viable, passengers have to be able to purchase a ticket and have the tickets collected at a destination - very often there is nowhere to purchase a ticket and no-one to check if a ticket has been purchased either!

Why all the negativity? Surely you all agree that Southport needs good transport links to prosper? We should be supporting any initiatives to improve both road and rail links.
