Pity he was not equally vocal when his party were cutting Police numbers. And not that any of the magic 200 are in post yet.
Guess Dumbian is gearing up for a General Election. It will be good to dump Dumbian.

Think you’d need to ask John Pugh why he wasn’t vocal given he was the MP for Southport at the time of most of the cuts....the Lib Dem’s did nothing of value for Southport so the non “dumbian” vote would be to not let them in again.

Oh good. That'll be about half an officer for Southport. 20,000 to replace those already cut, then some, might have been a better idea.

I guess not every MP is as good at self promotion as Dumbian. Although Dumbian has said a lot, he has done nothing, and achieved nothing.
For all we know, John Pugh may have done much. He could hardly have been as poor as Dumbian.
A vote for Dumbian is a vote for the same crassness seen since 2015. Three poor Prime Ministers in a row, Cameron, May, Johnson. Each worse that their predecessor.

Agree that he does a lot of self promotion but I disagree that the libs are any less worse or better, between John Pugh, their councillors and John not-Wright for Southport they’re like bald men fighting over a comb.

I very much doubt it as we would have heard of it in the junk mail over the last 15 years, fifteen years with nothing to show for it apart from voting for some very Southport unfriendly policies....also latterly as a councillor he’s not done anything of note and whilst MP (and now party leader) fails to control the persistent nastiness and divisiveness of some of his councillors....all to our detriment.

Why on earth would anyone vote Liberal Democrat, nothing to show for it but missed promises. Our local libs talk like they have done anything positive.....of course maybe I’ve missed the plethora of benefits the libs have delivered for us either locally or nationally, but I doubt it.
