Detectives investigating an assault on a bus in Queen Square on Tuesday, 11 June have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
At around 11.10am, emergency services were called to Queen Square bus station where it was reported a man had been assaulted on the 10b bus by a man with a screwdriver.
On Monday, 17 June, a 58-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault. He has since been released on conditional bail as enquiries continue.
