Lancashire police update 17:00 We asked for help earlier to find a missing man called Bernard Hunter and we are pleased to say he has been found. Thanks to everyone who helped by sharing our appeal or leaving supportive comments.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 63-year-old Bernard Hunter, who is missing from the Southport area. He was last seen on Cypress Road, Southport at around 09:40AM on 12/10/21.

Bernard is described as 5ft 7in tall, with short grey hair and of a large build. When he was last seen he was wearing a black coloured raincoat, black t-shirt, light jeans, and walking boots. He is believed to have links to Southport, Bootle, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough.

We are now concerned for Bernard's welfare and are appealing for your help to find him.
