Many NHS workers have said that they are struggling to buy the products they need at the beginning or the end of their shift, as supermarkets have seen unprecedented demand.

So we’re responding by introducing an NHS hour at all our stores at the beginning of every day, Monday to Saturday, so NHS workers can shop for groceries for themselves and their families.

This will be from 7am to 8am and a Morrisons colleague will be on the door to let staff with an NHS badge in.

Our new opening hours for all our other customers are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays we’ll be open as usual.

We promise to play our part in feeding the nation - it's more than our job.

I applaud the initiative but could it be expanded to other key workers who are struggling to shop after working hard to keep us all going.

Stringent restrictions on quantities are helping but the greedy just go from shop to shop.

I am like many heartily tired of people amassing huge and unnecessary stocks.

Personally I would seize the stocks of those who seek to profit on Ebay, Facebook etc, name and shame the parasites.

I’m 76, at risk so doing whatever I can to protect myself, We have to eat!
Went to my local small mini mark at the prescribed time on Their own website for me to shop. Not a sign on the window, shop was full of shoppers many with kids, no separation at the till, had to tell people to step back who looked at me as though I was mad. Asked the poor girl on the till when the card swipe was last disinfected and she candidly told me it hadn’t. So many selfish people who simply refuse to have a care for anybody other than themselves.

This is the problem, the shops may be trying to give priority times to certain groups, but too many shoppers just see it as an opportunity to get in and grab even more.

NHS workers suffered many problems during earlier days. A nice effort to give workers ease as to giving them an hour when they can buy things for them and for their family but now essay chief service help to choose unique task. Acts like these will make workers work with their heart.
