Officers have made another arrest in relation to the murder of James Taylor.
Yesterday evening (10th February) a 31 year old man from the Liverpool area was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He was taken to custody where he has been released on conditional bail until 6th March.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Warlow said: “Huge progress is being made in this investigation and I hope that this reassures the public that we are continuing to act quickly and will investigate all information provided to us.
“We continue to support Mr Taylor’s family at this difficult time and continue to ask anyone with information to get in touch if you haven’t already done so. This can be done in a number of ways including contacting our social media desk @MerPolCC, calling 101 or even reporting anonymously via @CrimestoppersUK.”
