A concerned resident has contacted Qlocal with these pictures after a mechanical road sweeper had been along Part Street in Southport.

The sweeper left behind more rubbish than it picked up according to the concerned resident.

Not surprised when I seen him he was on his phone driving not a care in the world by the looks of him

Please, watched this waste of rate payers
money go down Railway St. Absolutely useless. Good knews, locals now got together
and video on our phones, also one tends to park up for 45mins plus in Sefton St.
All log now and will be passed on 1st April.

Due to the brushes moving debris to the front brushes, as it goes round a corner it is not in balance and often leaves bits behind. If this offends anyone it is far quicker to grab a brush and shovel and clean it up than typing out a complaint.
