Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a 31-year-old man who may have information that could assist an investigation into a shop robbery in Walton.



The robbery was reported to have happened at 8.50pm on 3 December 2018 at C&C Value, Cherry Avenue. A shop keeper was threatened during the incident and laundry detergent taken.


Police believe James Hopkins could hold vital information that may assist their investigations and are appealing for information about his whereabouts.


He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall with brown hair, brown eyes and of slim build.


Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find Hopkins but he remains outstanding.


Detectives would ask Hopkins himself, or anyone who knows his whereabouts or recognises him from the attached photograph and knows where he is to contact Merseyside Police.
