Officers from Merseyside Police are guarding a small tent that has been on Meols Park for over a week.Two officers are on scene and the appear to be waiting for back up.

Another officer has arrived along with a NHS mental health nurse. They are now giving the man the help he needs.

I assume he means Meols Cop Park, Meols Cop Road, next to the school, Google maps shows it as Kew Park but for 50+ years I've always referred to it as Meols Cop Park.

Sefton maps show it as Meols Park Playing Fields.

Meols Cop playing fields is in Bla Vik...close to High Park.

Is it beyond your comprehension that 2 localities with Meols in their name could have parks with Meols in their name?
Google were informed about their "Kew Park" error years ago but have done nothing to correct it.
Google "Victoria Park" there's dozens of them all over the country.
