Afternoons and late shifts have now taken over the traffic management of the beach area at Formby and Freshfield.

We understand the multitude of issues that local residents face during these busy times. There is no 'quick fix' to the problems, but particular issues will be fed back to the Council etc.

In addition to the traffic issues, two children reported lost on the beach were both found again safely. One man was initially arrested for a public order offence, but this was then resolved by Community Resolution.

The morning shift would like to thank those residents who came to speak to us and thanked us for being there and offered us bottles of water.

There will always be problems in that area where the importance of a Nature Reserve and beauty spot took second place among a plethora of new building projects that have been allowed to be built so close.
