Riot Police were called to the Clifton Hotel on the Promenade early this morning after a fight broke out in the bar. According to witnesses at the scene tables and chairs were flying . Several people were arrested and taken away to police custody.

Been round , travelled all across
Europe with my work. Been in
clubs 5 nights a week until
3 ish in the morning .Hey never
saw a table fly anywhere. It appears there
was a dispute . How many arests were
made , how many went to hospital?

Thanks for the photo's of a Police van and it's occupants now I will know who I am looking for if I need the Police. I remember the Black Mariahs in the 50's and 60's and policemen who wore big hats and a uniform.
