One problem "SAND" grass racing maybe!
While you are all squabbling about the air show it shows up one very big problem;
The people who decided to Close Chapel St and halve the width of Lord St with the bus lanes really NEVER gave a thought to how to get traffic from one side of Southport to the other. I drove back from darn sarf today and went into town on the way home I gave up it was absolute chaos. The people responsible for gridlocking the Town should be sacked.

The people responsible for the gridlocking are the motorists themselves, why do people insist on driving through the town centre to get to the other side of town. If you need to get from Birkdale to Churchtown use Cemetary Rd, St Lukes Rd to Manchester Rd its far quicker than going through town.

Obviously you don't quite realise I HAD to go into Town only to be thwarted by the imbecilic morons who decide on the highways and byways of this Town. PNP like braindeads. In case you haven't noticed in your stupor ALL Banks from this once thriving Town ARE ALL IN THE TOWN CENTRE. Muppet.

I take it you've not been. Many concessions have deals to set up along the road between the beach and Ocean Plaza burger vans, sweet stalls and even Red Arrows simulators. Far easier to leave all this in place for the weekend than move it all in and out and add to the congestion.
