Summer 2022 will see Southport Half Marathon return for its 8th and best edition to date, on the traffic free route which includes Lord Street in Southport town centre.

The route is the only running event in the history of Southport to be permitted to close Lord Street to traffic and allow participants to run through the heart of this famous seaside resort.

Marine Drive and Coast Road closed to traffic between Plough Roundabout and Birkdale 08:30am to 13:00pm.

Lord Street between 9:00am and 9:45am.
