The ‘Inflata Town’ attraction’ – a 3,000 square foot indoor bouncy arena – is housed at Stanley High School, Fleetwood Road.
And organisers say it’s perfectly timed to put a smile on the faces of kids after months of lockdown restrictions.
The site will be open from Saturday, July 24, from 10am to 5pm, and run through the school summer holidays until Tuesday, August 31.
Parent company Inflata Nation, which is based in Southport and runs similar venues across the UK, has used the Stanley High School site on numerous occasions since debuting there in 2019.
Inflata Nation founder Matt Ball said: “We’re delighted to be opened the Inflata Town attraction once again and know it will be huge hit with children from the Southport area and further afield.
“The arena features drop slides, Inflata Balls, an assault course-style race and the extra bouncy Inflata Bubbles – all incorporated into a wall-to-wall inflatable space.”
Inflata Town costs £3.95 per hour for those aged 3 to 12 and £2.95 for under-threes. Extra time can be booked at a reduced rate.
There’s also a smaller area dedicated to under threes where they can enjoy themselves away from the bigger kids.
Matt added: “We’ve created inflatables that fit perfectly into the school’s hall, and the facility.
“It’s the ideal place for parents to bring their children for some fantastic fun – and hopefully to wear them out!”
Headteacher Neil Moore said at the time of the initial launch: “We are delighted to be welcoming Inflata Nation to Stanley High School and are looking forward to this exciting partnership.
"The inflatable park will provide thrilling, invigorating fun for families in Southport and demonstrates our commitment to being a school centred around our community.”
Matt and his wife Michelle, with offices in Princes Street, first shot to fame in 2014 after opening a series of trampoline parks called ‘Jump Nation’.
But in 2017 they switched from trampolines to enormous indoor bouncy castles by unveiling the Inflata Nation brand.
Since opening their flagship Inflata venue in Trafford Park, Manchester, they’ve since expanded to Runcorn, Birmingham, Beverley, Glasgow, Telford, Huddersfield, West Bromwich and Peterborough.
Their launch parties have become famous, featuring stars such I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Helen Flanagan and Emmerdale couple Charlie Webb and Matthew Wolfenden.
At least it's given the Chuckle Brothers a chance to show off their limited comedy talents.
But I suggest you both stay away from it as it might withstand one PR*CK but two will knacker it altogether.
