I don't know what standards the Food Standard's agency uses - but there are a lot more takeaways, restaurants and cafes that have failed my standards.

Very sad to see Esperanto’s with only one star, as I have eaten there several times in the last few years. The owner works very hard to please and his staff have always been attentive and friendly. The prices of meals are competitive and the quality of food has been appreciated by visiting family members whom I have taken there to lunch.

Whilst there maybe some relevance in the ratings, even a 1 doesn't mean it will kill you. Otherwise the Food Standards & Environmental Health would have closed them down.

What beats me is there are not many Chinese on the list, half the Chinese in town or anywhere really are a bit dodgy to say the least.
