To be correct, unless you have bad guts at the time, you won't be putting more pollution out - your car will......Ever thought about switching the engine off, whilst stuck at a junction, in a queue, at lights, level crossings, etc? I do so, and find it lengthens the mileage I get between filling stations!

Where do you get this poor education ?
should we search out these poor establishments and close them?
Creating these traffic flow problems creates the very pollution and delays we are trying to cut.

It's not the cycle-lanes or bikes that are emitting CO2 - it's the cars people continue to turn out with.....If all those short trips across town were made by bike, not only would emissions be greatly reduced, but the roads would be a lot safer for the rest of us too!

Don't block flow you cause problems and pollution,
ask a plumber, it ain't rocket science.
Carry on with your bike but don't create holdups to do it.
Creating pinch points at the start and finish of journeys gives us the problems we all see.
Reducing traffic overall is far far better for the environment.

Yes, my argument is as ridiculous as yours. You CANNOT assume that those who did not respond are either for or against. You can only use the figures for those who did respond. And the majority of those were against.

No roads are being closed, all homes and businesses will still be accessible it's just that you won't be able to use routes dodging down side streets to get there.

Not entirely true. Some residents who live in some side streets will need to go down other side streets to get to a different main road because their nearest main road will be blocked off to them.

Not quite True. Many businesses will not be accessible to disabled people who will no longer be able to park using their Blue Badges. Of course, many disabled people are not capable of riding bicycles... so they don't count.

Blue badgers can park for up to three hours in any pay-and-display space free of charge, provided they are the ones actually doing the shopping or for whatever other reason they are in town for. What is not allowed, is to tote a badge-holder about, then leave them sat in a car whilst an able-bodied driver gets out and does the shopping.
Parking on yellow lines for three hours - even double yellows - is also ok, so blue badgers will not be given a ticket for that either. They can of course, park on supermarket car-parks just like anyone else, e.g. at Central 12, Sainsburys or Morrisons, where disabled spaces are reserved for them close by the store entrances.

I'm glad someone is awake.
The UK voted to leave the EU Pnp couldn't accept that.
Southport Residents have said No to the proposals Pnp can't accept that.
There seems to be a common lack of the meaning of Democracy in his vacuous cranium.
I replied to their consultation to point out the problems they will create, not to stop cyclists, the pity is that Pnp will not see those problems because basically it won't affect cyclists they can just do their bunny hops onto the pavement and carry on as normal. Does he actually think they will stay in the cycle lane and wait their turn at traffic lights.

Coaches? the cyclist wants 50 people on bikes not in a coach as they visit Southport from Birmingham for the day. This from our hero who took all day to ride to Parbold and back.

Absolute rubbish - NO ROADS WILL BE CLOSED!
In fact with less traffic in the area it may be even easier for them to Park.

I never said roads will be closed.
They can not park on the cycle lane.
They can not park alongside the cycle lane.
Thus, they can not park on a road with a cycle lane.
So how can it be "easier to park" ?
