There are a full five months to go until the Southport Flower Show and we are pressing ahead with preparations still very much in the hope that the event will go ahead as planned.

However, we have been closely following the latest developments over the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and monitoring all government advice which may adversely affect the events industry.

We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of the show and we would like to wish everyone well in these challenging times.

This is five months away and if other countries are to go by then everything will be coming back to normal by then. China is already relaxing its rules as the people with the virus has fallen to zero. In five months time we will be glad of somehing like this to take our minds off the preceeding months.

China has just reported over 30 new cases and a whole province of over 600,000 people has been sealed off
