Southport Labour’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ councillors - after fantastic results today for Carran Waterfield in Norwood, Jennifer Corcoran in Kew and also Sonya Kelly in Birkdale - a hold and two more gains for Labour locally!
We are delighted to have once again proved that Labour can and does win here; we now have taken seven council seats from the Lib Dems in three years, coupled with the fact that in the last general election they received the worst vote for a Liberal candidate of any type since 1900, while we received yet another record vote - this shows a seismic shift locally.
Local people know that we are now the only viable alternative to the Conservatives in Southport and that our councillors work really hard for our residents - we intend to keep doing so and thank everyone who voted for us

They give birth after 9 months of pregnancy just like human beings.

I thought better of you, expected an answer like that from Donkey.
I wasn't asking about pregnancy, I was asking whether they'd have maternity leave, maternity pay, or whether they would have someone to cover their possible 12 months off with maternity leave?
I suppose I should have broken the question down in the first place. :(

Yes, you should have asked the question you intended to ask rather than ask something completely different like you did.
Don't blame me for the fact you missed words out of your original question.

Great news! Lib Dems are finished in Southport, we will be a Labour town sooner or later!
