A Mexican Mezze was on the menu this weekend for Southport Ladies Group’s monthly meal. The growing group of all ladies go out for themed meals and raise for charity.

The ladies raised £200 for MacMillan and dementia through a raffle. There was two games of bingo, a raffle and a dance off in a game of ‘pass the sombrero!” Ladies also donned Mexican moustaches and wore the flag colours, whilst sipping cocktails and enjoying a full Mexican Mezze in Tic Taco.

“This was our biggest turn out yet with 40 ladies in attendance!” Said Claire Kelly, group owner.

Feedback included:

“Thank you for such a fantastic first evening out, I met some lovely ladies and the venue was excellent. I look forward to many more meet ups. Fantastic job, it was great.”

“The night was amazing. I look forward to the next one.”

“We are always looking for new venues to eat and party,” says Claire, “ we have done Mexican, Chinese, Turkish, Greek, Mediterranean.. so far and are going Egyptian next month!”

“There is always some focus such as a speaker, bingo, karaoke, a quiz, games to make the evening more interactive.”
