Steve Burr will be putting his Port players through their paces on Monday morning at the JMO Sports Park following Saturday’s two nil reversal at Boreham Wood. Speaking to Jon O’Byrne after the final whistle Steve Burr felt his side started well and had to exploit their early domination.

But overall on the ninety minutes Steve Burr had no complaints about the final scoreline praising Boreham Wood as up in the bracket of Barrow performance wise.


Despite a tough week with the Emirates FA Cup extra time at Fleetwood and a long journey south there was no excuses from the Port manager who felt that his sides passing wasn’t up to the standards of recent weeks. Steve Burr also revealed a big blow for the next few matches. Unfortunately Jordan Lussey had to be substituted due to a pulled thigh which could rule the influential midfielder out for sometime.
