Following a successful Christmas lights switch on in Southport at the weekend, events will be taking place in numerous village and town centres throughout Sefton, with a range of festive fun for all the family.

The events are delivered through a partnership between business communities, local residents, voluntary and charity organisations, and Sefton Council.

Funding is secured through the private, voluntary and public sector to encourage people to shop local in the run up to Christmas.

Churchtown - Wednesday, Nov 23, 7.00pm
Thornton - Wednesday, Nov 23, 6.00pm
Kirkstone Park (Litherland) - Thursday, Nov 24, 5.00pm
Crosby - Saturday, Nov 26, 7.00pm
Formby - Sunday, Nov 27, 5.00pm
Hightown - Wednesday, Nov 30, 6.00pm
Waterloo - Thursday, Dec 1, 5.00pm
Maghull - Friday, Dec 2, 6.30pm
Seaforth - Saturday, Dec 3, 4.45pm
