A heartfelt message from Richard Hughes, a Southport Football Club loyal supporter and sponsor.

“Tracey and I have taken the decision to not proceed into the new season as providers of matchday refreshments.

As a matter of courtesy I have already informed and thanked former Chairman Charles Clapham by whom we were appointed.

I would like to place on record how grateful we have been to be able to have served Southport Football Club for over a quarter of a century and we hope that the club along with the fans can achieve all of their exciting objectives both on the pitch and off it with all matchday experiences and facilities.

We would like to place on record that the fans we have served at both ends of the ground over many, many seasons have been a total pleasure to work with and have more often offered support than derision.

In order for them to now push on with any new agendas for the future it is only right to clear the decks.

We hope that any future providers can enjoy the task as much as we have and for at least as long.

From Tracey and myself to the club , the board, and the fans we would just like to say “thanks a million”

Jumped before they were pushed Clapham out next the food was excellent

Hopefully we'll get some half decent caterers in this time, who will provide decent fare at a reasonable price. Good riddance Caterforce.

The food was excellent!!! Jesus wept, don't know what restaurants you go to, mind you most of the pies at Haig Ave crawled up to you of their own accord so you didn't have to leave your seat.
