Councillors are forever complaining that they are short of money, Yet these traveller's continually keep setting up camps everywhere in the area and
cost thousands of pounds to clean up after. Isn't it about time that certain open areas have a set banning order on them so that anyone who tried to set up camp in those areas can be moved on immediately.

I thought that after the last time steps had been taken to secure the site and if any damage was done to effect entry the Police could turf them off straight away.

You'd like to think so but unfortunately the travellers are no strangers to working the system. Their trump card is - children are present.
Because children are living in the caravans ,before Notice can be served to move them on, a whole raft of 'Welfare' protocols have to be observed.

I dropped off 2 travellers there last night around 3.00am,picked them up in town, but I could'nt for the life of me understand a bloody word they said between themselves,as they were both intoxicated, and both their accents were that broad........and obviously checked the tenner they gave me for the fare,it was a genuine one....Looked to be around 4 caravans, and 5 vehicles on the Park n Ride site,at the present time.

Would be a good idea if this location was established as a Park and Shuttle service for outpatients and visitors to Southport General Hospital. Currently finding a parking space in the hospital grounds is very difficult at busy times.

Don't be silly, that's sensible and practical, no chance.

Nothing will be done that reduces the numbers paying the rip off parking charges at the hospital.

Learn what exactly? They turn up and either cut or grind the locks off the gates at a car park. It is then a Police matter.

Your right its not Seftons weary workers fault they can plead diminished responsibility on the grounds of institutional ineptitude and who could argue that.
