    If they are not paying the correct parking fees, clamp the vehicles and have them towed away - the same as would happen for everyone else. Why should they be treated any differently?

    Yep - easily done: just lock them all in until their outstanding fees are paid. Mind you, a police presence may be necessary and of course we don't have one!

    And why are they there - because they know nothing will be done. Let the heading read ‘the council will try to appear to make efforts to remove them’. Until stern action is taken immediately they will continue to arrive.
