Reported yesterday by Sefton Police

Two men have been arrested this afternoon (Thursday 13th Jan) on suspicion of attempted burglary to a home in Southport. Officers on patrol in Southport responded to the 999 call and both men were arrested attempting to make off from the property.

One of the men was also arrested for possession of cannabis.

At the time of writing the two men are on route to custody. More information will follow when available.
