Nine cars were in for repair at Southport's Southbank Tyres today after getting punctures while driving down Pippin St., Burscough.
Yesterday morning the road was more like a river and today the extent of the potholes on the Southport bound carriageway was plain for all to see.
It's not only Pippin St that's been affected either according to the Real Burscough Community FB page: 'Four cars just had their tyres punctured on a nasty pot hole towards Burscough from The Plough. Take care especially anyone on a motorbike.
'Please no comments that the local authority compensate, they don’t. They rely on a defence of inspection and repair although they don’t do that either,' wrote Steve Davies on Sunday.
