Sefton Residents can now get a coronavirus test even if they don’t have the COVID-19 symptoms, at Aintree Racecourse.
You don’t need an appointment. Just go to the walk-through ‘Asymptomatic’ testing facility at Aintree Racecourse during the opening hours of 7am to 7pm to get your test.
People who have the ‘lateral flow’ tests can expect to get their results from about 30 minutes to two hours after getting tested. They will receive their results by text or email soon after leaving the test centre.
A different part of Aintree Racecourse is also the location of a drive-through mobile testing unit for people who do have coronavirus symptoms. You need to book an appointment either by calling 119 or visiting www.nhs.uk/coronavirus
People with symptoms are asked to follow directions to the mobile unit to ensure to ensure they stay separate from people getting tested without symptoms.

What, a 'walk through' centre in Aintree when we live in Southport? A 3hr 30 minute walk for us all? Where's the parking?
Sefton 'Animal Farm' democracy in action again!!

Save the transport costs of the testers being taken to Liverpool why don't a few hang back at Pontins and then us carrot crunchers can be tested and keep hold of our hub caps.
